Windows 7 Gets an Official Name “Windows 7″

Windows has officially named their next installment of traditional operating systems. Instead of XP or Vista, the new windows is named 7. Yes that’s right, the name is seven and now has made all technical support reps miserable when they have to explain 1 thru 6 and what they did or didn’t miss.
Anyway, there you have it. Now we wait for the clever name of Windows Strata to overstep the "7" name. Is this their point, or are they trying to compete with a naming system like "OS X" ?
