iHome iD9 Sound Dock for iPad, iPhone and iPod Review

I review the iHome iD9. The sound dock for the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch is a great product and worth a look if you are in the market for such a dock.
I have an iPhone 2 and read on the iHome website that you need a special adapter. but I could not quite come out so my question except the Dock, you also need other things? it’s a bit of a must? thanks
