All new smartphones are getting pretty mature as far as each of their operating systems is concerned. We are now on the 5th Revision of IOS. The 4.0 release of Android with Ice Cream Sandwich and the Second major release of Windows Phone 7 with Mango.

Many of you have asked or requested that I make a comparison video between all the new platforms. After thinking about how to do this best and most objectively I decided to break the comparison into segments. Each segment will cover one topic or area of the phones and show a comparison of how each of them work.

In this video I cover how Bluetooth works on all of the devices. I hook them up to my car and show you how texting works on the go for each device.

It’s Monday again and that means it’s time for Mac Tip Monday.  This week I talk about Hot Corners.  Hot Corners is a feature that has been built into a Mac for some time, but I find a lot of people don’t know it exists.  I show you what Hot Corners is, and how to enable and customize it so it best suits you.

So many of you are always asking me what is on my iPhone. I decided we should probably do a what’s on my iPhone segment about once every few months. As you might expect in this video, I show what the current apps I am using on my iPhone happen to be. Apple may have just changed the textbook market for good, but only time will tell.  In this video I talk about Apple’s education announcement which included iBooks 2, iBooks Author and iTunes U.  I go over parts of iBooks Author and talk about where the future of education may be headed.
