Pure Play Music has signed a deal allowing all of its music to become available on the iTunes store.  Pure Play will now have its own drop-down category for all of its unsigned artists.

"The online distribution model is changing," says Lebrum in the press release. "We are spearheading these efforts to enable artists the maximum amount of exposure with a minimum amount of risks. By forging partnerships with outlets already established in the space, we can leverage their connections, and they benefit from our vast catalogue of world-wide artists. The new era of distribution is now, and we are thrilled to take the leadership role."

Pure Play will also make some of its songs available on Amazon, Napster and eMusic.

SanDisk has partnered with four major music labels, EMI Music, SONY BMG, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group to rid us of CD’s.  The new micro SD memory cards, dubbed "Slot Music" are pre-loaded with DRM free MP3′s and will be available at retail stores including Best Buy and Wal-Mart, with Europe to follow.

The cards can be used in your mp3 players or cell phones that accept MicroSD cards.  The real question is, how much will these be and will people want to buy "Slot Music" cards instead of just buying their music on iTunes, Amazon or other stores?

On the cover of the new October Esquire magazine, 99,999 of you will find a new E-ink display which changes every second or two.  The magazine will continue to work for about 90 days on its current set of batteries.  This is a first in the implementation of E-ink being used cheaply and being displayed everywhere.  The technology is used in the popular Kindle E-book reader from amazon and the same technology is used on the magazine.  We are not sure what the cost is to Esquire, but we hope it’s low enough to see in many future applications.

The Prices start at $1.99 for TV and $2.99 and up for movies.  "You can still download and watch via Unbox on PC or TiVo, and no matter how they’re purchased, content is added to the Your Video Library accessible from the web or IVL".

The other news at Amazon is they have confirmed a service for Sony Broadband Enabled Bravia TV’s.  The service will allow you to browse and download content right to your television.
