Today marks the 25th anniversary of the company many of us aspire to be a part of or own.  It has been an interesting 25 years if you go and review the history of the company.  From the humble beginnings of the original Apple Computer to the inspiration that iMacs, MacBook’s and iPods are today, we wish Apple happy 25th and many more.

There are also plenty of videos on youtube which show keynotes and product announcements and anything else you could think of.

  The new MacBook and MacBook Pro have made an appearance in the refurbished store on Apple’s site.  The 13-inch Aluminum MacBook are selling for $1,099 and $1,399, while the one MacBook Pro available is $2,099.  The refurbished MacBooks come with all accessories and the 1-year limited warranty of the new MacBooks.  Get them while you can.

  Apple has released an update for the latest MacBook line to improve various interface fixes and power issues.  See the updates below:

EFI Firmware Updates: The Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) specifies the interface between a computer’s firmware and the operating system. These updates address several issues related to system stability. Further information and installation instructions can be found on Apple’s support page.

SMC Firmware Updates: The System Management Controller (SMC) controls various power-related functions. According to Apple, these updates address the "sensing and accuracy of the MagSafe Power Adapter indicator light, and the battery charge indicator lights."   The US Apple Store is back with their Black Friday savings.  They are consistent with past Black Friday sales and are offering some decent deals.  You can find some better deals at Best Buy or Mac Mall however.

Apple TV – $21.00 off

Not great deals, but they are deals. 

  If you’ve been waiting for that new MacBook or perhaps just a new Mac in general, now is your chance to get the deals you were waiting for.  The deals are not yet live on Apple’s own site, but are active at MacMall and Best Buy.  Apple says they will be price matching as well, so you may just want to go that route.
