We all know now that Apple will be releasing a new iPhone and someone has taken it upon themselves to show us what a new iteration of the iPhone could be. These photos show that the iPhone could have a very nice continuation of quality design all while changing the look of the top and bottom of the phone and changing the look of the camera. The original creator also has some interesting concepts of what could be a netbook as well. Be sure to check the other concepts they have [Here]
You have been waiting for a deal like this to push you over the edge in getting a hackintoshable netbook that also has the benefit of being update-able when running OSX. The Dell Mini-9 is available for $199 for the next 22 hours or so or until 11:59PM on March 25th. Get it while you can and make sure to have a couple USB thumb drives and a Leopard install disc to get your new Mac…I mean Dell, up and running.
Today we will finally see what iPhone 3.0 is all about. There are some that think there is more to this afternoons (given your timezone) conference in the way of the long rumored touch-screen Mac. We all long for the day a Mac netbook with or without a touch-screen will make its way into our lives, and if Slashgear is right, today is the day.
"According toComputer World’s Seth Weintraub, Apple will possibly use today’s event to launch the 10-inch capacitive touchscreen device we’ve been reading rumors about over the past few weeks. Contrary to what some believe, though, Weintraub expects not a netbook – with a hardware keyboard and traditional clamshell design – but a slate-format device similar to a larger iPod touch."
Be sure to check back for more information as it comes in, starting at 1PM EST.
This rumor has been around for quite some time and Steve Jobs himself said they have looked into it, but not interested at the time. Apparently Apple has realized that the market demands more affordable notebooks from every manufacturer. The company Wintek has supposedly stated they are making the touch panels for a new netbook which would be released in the 3rd quarter of 2009. The rumor is substantial as it comes from Digitimes, who has been accurate in the past.
Apple must know that all of their Mac followers would purchase a netbook and many other would pick one up as well. It is hard to say what the sales figures of such a netbook would be, but you can bet it will be an instant hit if the price is right.
