Palm had originally said they would be releasing the 1.4 update in February and it is unfortunate for many that they waited until the end of the month. According to Precentral.net2 the update will be coming on the 25th and will bring the much needed video recording, speed improvements, a new way of launching cards and Flash compatibility. We will still have to wait for Flash, but at least this is one step closer.
We continue to take a look at the new Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus. We look at the multi-tasking capability and the new Wifi hotspot app that turns your Pre or Pixi into a wifi hotspot for up to 5 devices.
Palm has finally made the Pre Plus and Pixi PLus available on their site for order. Palm may now have a serious shot at gaining market share in the United States as those faithful to Verizon now have their choice of two excellent WebOS devices. So far I have been very impressed by these devices when running on Verizon as compared to Sprint. Be sure to get yours and get the Pixi Plus free when you buy a Pre Plus.
