Leaked photos of what is thought to be the upcoming iPhone 4th generation were released on engadget last night. The iPhone is said to have 80GB of storage along with a front facing camera. See the video for all the details.
To continue the saga of iPhone Rumors, Mac Rumors had forum poster mj12 find some pics off a Chinese website of the internals of the new iPhone. The pictures are consistent with the rumored pics from yesterday., Check out the rest after the jump.As you can see the phones has the aluminum ring and a front facing camera. It also sports the rumored all-in-one display from a few months back.
There have been numerous rumored images of the upcoming 4th generation iPhone. Engadget has just posted some images of what could be the next iPhone.
Apparently the phone was found on the floor of a San Jose bar inside of an iPhone 3G case. Right now we don’t have a ton of info on the device in question, but we can tell you that it apparently has a front facing camera (!), 80GB of storage (weird, right?), and isn’t booting at this point (though it was previously, and running an OS that was decidedly new).
While it is never certain when images leak, this was shown in a recent twitter pic by TUDream In February. This could be it and if so I can’t say I am that fond of the design, but it looks as though it could be more durable than previous iPhone iterations. The iPhone does not boot so there is no real specs to be revealed just yet. We imagine we’ll see a lot of iPhone possibilities leading up to what is looking like a June release.
Reports of the iPhone coming to Verizon are nothing new, but this time there is a little more credibility to the claim. The Wall Street Journal has said that Apple will be releasing an updated iPhone as usual in the June or July time frame along with plans to bring the iPhone to a CDMA carrier such as Verizon. Apparently there are different manufacturers being involved to manufacture the CDMA verison of the iPhone.
The model that has CDMA capability, used by Verizon Wireless, is being manufactured by Pegatron Technology Corp., the contract manufacturing subsidiary of Taiwan’s ASUSTeK Computer Inc., said these people.
While this is still a rumor, the WSJ’s reports on Apple rumors are usually more credible than not. That said we will have to wait until the summer to know for sure.
Apple has said or more specifically Steve Jobs has said the iPad is coming out sometime toward the end of March. The latest rumor from macrumors.com say they have some sources reporting the iPad will be coming to store at 6PM Friday March 26th.
The Examiner has also made a similar post which claims that Apple employees will get a chance to see the iPad on March 10th for training for the release on March 26th.
If the 26th of March is the date we should see pre-orders come available fairly soon as the launch is only a few weeks away.
