Shipping this October, Sony is giving their aging Memory Stick Pro-Duo line of flash memory cards a much needed shot of Red Bull in the form of MS PRO-HG Duo HX. Sony boasts maximum transfer speeds of 20MB/sec read and 15MB/sec write when used with the bundled MSAC-UAH1 USB adapter, with the first cards shipping in 4GB and 8GB flavors.  When asked for comment on the new naming convention, a Sony Rep responded: "It’s newer, faster, and more proprietary. We wanted to convey that to our customers"
