Blue, the maker of exceptional microphones that combine excellent recording quality and style, has released two new products to their lineup.  Mikey is a recording device which connects directly to your iPod’s dock connector and allows 1.5 hours of recordings.  Mikey has three settings to refine the sound quality and recording length.  Mikey will be available in February for $80.

Blue also introduced the Eyeball.  This is a microphone similar to their Snowflake, but incorporates a camera. The eyeball will mount nicely to any flat panel monitor or laptop and is available now for $99.

Thirdly, Blue is releasing the Icicle.  The handy little device allows you to connect any XLR microphone directly to USB and supplies 48v phantom power to your mic.  No mention of cost or availability yes, but we would guess soon.
