VMWare Fusion 2.0 Released

  

  VMWare Fusion has released 2.0 to the public.  The new software offers over 100 changes and is free for current 1.0 owners and on sale for those who do not yet own a copy.  If you have the need to run windows, linux, or anything else virtually on the mac then VMWare Fusion will get the job done.  Having run this myself for almost a year, it has performed without a hitch for the entire time.  I have been running 2.0 for a couple months and the performance is quite better than it used to be and some graphical upgrades really make it feel like native speed.  See all the updates below.

iPhone, iPod Touch Podcaster App Reviewed

 

  As mentioned before, the banned Podcaster app is now available through the developer and can be loaded on the phone without jailbreaking the phone.  Having received the app we only thought it fitting that we give it a review as this app should have been part of the iPhone software itself.  The developer has given us the app we who listen to podcasts wanted all along.

ATT Once Again Sends Text Message to Upgrade to 2.1

  

  iPhone users are once again receiving a text message asking them to upgrade to firmware 2.1  It is nice of them to ask, but maybe there is something on the back end that is new which is why they would encourage us?  They are also a few days late as my iPhone has 2.1 on it already.  This could just be a conspiracy or AT&T just being nice, but cell phone carriers are never nice, so you decide.
