iPhone Owners Propted by AT&T to Update to 2.0.2

Some people are reporting they are getting a text message from AT&T prompting them to update their firmware on their iPhone. "An important software update for iPhone 3G has been available on iTunes since this past Monday," the message reads. "To get it, simply sync your iPhone 3G with iTunes and click the ‘Check for Update’ button."  It seems strange that AT&T would want the update.  Maybe they are concerned about data usage or maybe they are afraid of jailbroken iPhones. The Most Advanced Mac Keyboard Available

Logitech has been making great keyboards and mice for years.  The diNovo Edge for Mac is their newest keyboard and claims to be the most advanced mac keyboard available.  The keyboard is just under half an inch thin.  It boasts a touch disc which acts as the arrow keys as well as a scroll pad.  The keyboard connects via bluetooth directly to any mac, assuming you have bluetooth.  Logitech also says the keyboard has the perfect stroke for typing, providing accurate and comfortable touch to the user.  The keyboard comes with a base station for charging which allows the battery to last for up to a month.  The downside is the price at 159.99 retail.  FOr that, this better be the most advanced keyboard.  Either way it is a great looking keyboard for anyone in need of a bluetooth keyboard.

Intel Now Releasing Macbook Air Processor for other Notebooks

At the Intel Developer Forum Yesterday, Intel announced new, very small Centrino Processors for Notebook computers. The processors are a result of the reasearch and development done for the Macbook Air.  Per Arstechnica,   "Centrino processors will be used in both Lenovo’s X301 and HP’s 2530p."  "Both the SL9400 (1.8GHz) and the SL9300 (1.6GHz) use a 1066MHz FSB and carry 6MB of L2 cache. Intel is also introducing a pair of 10W processors: the SU9400 (1.4GHz) and SU9300 (1.2GHz). Both of these chips run on an 800MHz FSB and carry 3MB of L2 cache."  Its nice to see more trickle down affect on the overall computing world. Now if they could fit that into an iPhone we’ll be all set.
