Software To Be The Focus At March 24th Event

 

  There have been rumors of an event for a couple weeks now regarding the upcoming event on March 24th.  Since Apple has just refreshed almost all of its entire lineup it makes sense that the latest news says the event will focus on software.  Sevenmac is reporting that an internal build exists of a new Final Cut, but we would think something bigger, like Snow Leopard would warrant such an event.  We would also hope to see the newly rumored iPhone refresh as well. We only have 15 more days left to see what else Apple has for us.

Mac Brick Revealed to Be A Process, Not A Product

 

  The rumored "Brick" from Apple turns out to be the process of forming aluminum by the use of lasers and hydro-forming.  The process allows the case to be made from a solid piece of aluminum or "brick", instead of castings which make for a stronger case.

New nVdia MacBooks Coming October 14th?

 

  October 14th looks to be the day that the new nVidia powered MacBooks will make an appearance.  According to TUAW, the date is getting closer and closer to reality, but they still are not 100% sure that the 14th is the day.  Supposedly nVidia employees already have the new MacBooks in hand and we hope we can have them in hand within a couple weeks.

Dell Releases Inspiron Mini 9, Tiny and Cheap

  

  Dell released their answer to the small pc’s being released by everyone lately.  The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is the latest creation from Dell.  

 

The small laptop is powered by an Atom Diamondville processor and has a screen dimension of 1024×600. The screen has an LED backlight  and comes in at just $399 for Windows XP and $349 with Ubuntu.

Although this story has been ongoing for a day or two now, there seem to be more pictures of the upcoming 4th Gen iPod Nano appearing.  This all but confirms what Kevin Rose of Digg had said before about the 4G Nano.  Anyway, we will see all the deatils in a couple weeks if September 9th is to be the date.
