  Lala is currently in beta and includes 50 free songs when you sign up for free.  The service allows you to listen to music online for free and if you want add it to your library with a higher quality bit rate it is only 10 cents per song. If you then wish to download a 256Kbit DRM free MP3, it costs an additional 79 cents.  Lala allows you to download a connector which imports the music you already have purchased on your Mac or PC, so you can listen to it anywhere online.

DRM Free Slot Music Micro SD Cards Coming To Retail

  SanDisk has partnered with four major music labels, EMI Music, SONY BMG, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group to rid us of CD’s.  The new micro SD memory cards, dubbed "Slot Music" are pre-loaded with DRM free MP3’s and will be available at retail stores including Best Buy and Wal-Mart, with Europe to follow.
