Apple Releases Their 17-inch Unibody MacBook Pro


  Apple is finally releasing the 17-inch version of their unibody MacBook.  The 17-inch MacBook Pro, is the .98 inches thin, 6.6 pounds, and is the world’s lightest and thinnest 17-inch notebook. There’s a 17-inch LED backlit display, 1920×1200. “This is the best display we’ve ever shipped in a notebook.” 700:1 contrast ratio, 60% greater color gamut than the previous 17-inch display.

MacBook Air Updated With Graphics and Storage


  Apple also updated their MacBook Air line to include new NVIDIA GPU’s, some more storage and speed.

  The New MacBook has been announced and is available tommorow, but ships today.  The features are as follows:


$1299 – 13.3-inch LED backlit display, 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3MB L2 Cache, 2GB 1066MHz DDR3 memory, 9400M GeForce, 160GB hard drive and SuperDrive.


$1599, adds 2.4GHz processor, 250GB hard drive and a backlit keyboard.

MacBook Pro Announced with Glass Trackpad


  Apple just announced the new MacBook pro and indeed it contained the glass trackpad we all thought it would.  It can use 4-finger gestures and is the "Brick" we all thought.  This means it was milled from a solid piece of aluminum.  See more after the jump…
