Apple Denies Netbook Rumor: “Not a consumer experience that we would put the Mac brand on”

Apple continues to deny that they are releasing a netbook as has been rumored for some time.  Apple executive Tim Cook had this to say about netbooks:

"When I’m looking at what’s sold in the Netbook market, I see cramped keyboards, junky hardware, very small screens, bad software. Not a consumer experience that we would put the Mac brand on. As it exists today, we’re not interested in it nor would it be something customers would be interested in the long term. We are looking at the space. For those who want a small computer that does browsing/email, they might want an iPhone or iPod Touch. Is This the New Macbook or Macbook Pro?

We are all expecting there to be a new revision of macbook or macbook pro or even both at the upcoming October event.  It is hard to tell if this is a picture of the new one, however the rumors state that the new macbook could be aluminum.  This picture shows a slightly different screen with black around it as opposed to the aluminum color.  It looks much more like the current iMac as far as the screen goes.  The keys also appear to be black in color and the top appears that way as well, but it could be the lighting.

The Most Advanced Mac Keyboard Available

Logitech has been making great keyboards and mice for years.  The diNovo Edge for Mac is their newest keyboard and claims to be the most advanced mac keyboard available.  The keyboard is just under half an inch thin.  It boasts a touch disc which acts as the arrow keys as well as a scroll pad.  The keyboard connects via bluetooth directly to any mac, assuming you have bluetooth.  Logitech also says the keyboard has the perfect stroke for typing, providing accurate and comfortable touch to the user.  The keyboard comes with a base station for charging which allows the battery to last for up to a month.  The downside is the price at 159.99 retail.  FOr that, this better be the most advanced keyboard.  Either way it is a great looking keyboard for anyone in need of a bluetooth keyboard.
