New Zune Software Coming September 15th With Zune HD

 

  WIth the launch of a new Zune comes the update to the already excellent Zune Player software.  Microsoft is claiming some exciting new features as to which the details have been left out.  We expect an update from Apple with a new iTunes this coming week, but we would love to see more features to the great player they have now.  Zune Player is on par with iTunes and that is a hard feat to manage.  The Zune software is very different, but equal in some areas and better in others as far as music software goes.  We’ll be sure to give you a full review of the Zune software should it be a significant upgrade.

MMS Finally Coming To iPhone September 25th

 

  The one feature strangely missing from the incredible iPhone is MMS.  Everyone has MMS except iPhone and this has caused some confusion and anger amongst its users.  AT&T has explained all of this in a press release from today.  The network was to blame and they admit this to their credit.  Finally a simple feature gets added this month.  Read the press release after the jump:

Clickfree Offers An Interesting Backup Solution For Mac & PC

Google Voice Transcribes Your Voicemail Into Text – Releasing Soon

 

  Google has announced the launch of a new application which transcribes your voicemail into messages for you to view.  The service will then send them via email or SMS message for you to read instead of having to listen to them when you are in a meeting, class or other situation where you cannot listen to your messages.  If you are currently a subscriber of GrandCentral, Google will set this up for you automatically in the next few days.  If not,  you can sign up [Here]

New Mac Tablet Render Brings Hope And Excitement

 

  If there is any product that Apple fans would want and have asked for in the years past, a tablet based Mac of sort would be the one.  The latest rendering sparks the imagination as to what a slightly larger iPhone-like touch device could look like.  The rumor has been going around this past week about the launch of such a device by the end of 2009, and if TechCrunch or any of the many reporting outlets who say this is no longer a rumor are right, lets hope it stimulates ones mind as well as this render does.

AT&T iPhone Tethering Plan to Cost $30?

 

  The good news is that we are getting tethering for our iPhones in the near future.  The bad news is that we will most likely have to add $30 to the already high price per month we pay for our iPhones.  This will probably just force the tech savvy to use their jailbroken tethering methods instead of paying the same as they already pay for their iphone data plan.  You also could just get a new 3G enabled laptop which incorporates a sim card tray.
