What is most interesting is they have found a spot for a camera which was strangely absent from Wednesday’s event. If you have been waiting to jailbreak your phone because the apps are not to your satisfaction on the app store or you are just mad you cannot tether your phone, you can now jailbreak your iPhone or iPod touch with QuickPwn 2.1 on Windows. The application is available now and will allow you to load your own apps, it does not unlock the 3g iPhone yet, but will unlock the original iPhone. Apple revealed a new iPod touch today at its Let’s Rock event. The iPod’s do not get a memory upgrade, but are now similar in shape to the iPhone 3G and have a Polished Steel back. The software on them includes Nike Pedometer software and includes the new Genius Playlists which work with iTunes 8 to sort music automatically to your taste.
The iPod touch is priced at $229.00 for 8GB, $299 for 16GB and $399 for 32GB.
