New iPhone Just Around The Corner?


  The latest update to the iPhone firmware hints at a new model in the works.  Within the code Apple has always used different numbers to represent the iPhone models.  For example,  "iPhone 1,1" is the original iPhone while the 3G iPhone is labeled "iPhone 1,2".  The new label is now "iPhone 2,1", and confirms a change is coming soon.  If Apple is using the same schedule it has used for the past couple of iPhone releases, then we could count on a June or July release. 


Mac Rumors also notes that:


"Meanwhile, at least one developer has noticed actual "iPhone2,1" models in use based on PinchMedia ad serving reports. (Other numbers blurred out)."

Tesla Model S Breaks Cover


  Tesla has finally shown its new model S sports sedan to Road & Track magazine.  The new 4-door sedan is an all electric piece of art, which when released will have a base price of $60,000.  The model S will allow you to travel up to 240 miles per charge and will accelerate to 60MPH in under 6 seconds.  The sedan is due to go on sale in late 2010 and Tesla has even started to build a manufacturing plant in the US just for this model.

Tesla WhiteStar Sedan to Have its Own Factory


  Just about everyone knows what the Tesla roadster is.  What you may or may not know is they plan to release a luxury sedan and then an affordable car that continues their electric only mindset after that.  Tesla is serious about building electric cars for all and is set to build a new facility for the upcoming Model-S sedan.
