  The concept of this Apple patent is fairly simple.  The idea is that when you are looking at your monitor it will be more realistic to move your head around and look into the display, just like you would do out a window.  The whole idea is based on using your computer either hands free or with minimal input. You can essentially just look around as though your monitor was one big window.

Upside Down Rainbow Image

 

  This is something you don’t see every day, a rainbow upside down.  The giant smiley face in the sky was captured in Britain and only happens under perfect conditions.  The sky must be clear and the ice crystals have to be a certain type to get this effect.

 

"It is convex to the sun and is formed by refraction in suitably-oriented ice crystals and may show vivid rainbow colouring, as in this case."
