Apple Updates The Shuffle
Not a whole lot going on with the shuffle at today’s Apple event. They did however add colors and a premium polished stainless steel version. The 2GB model comes in at $59 while the 4GB is $79 along with a special edition which is $99.

itunes Gets Updated To 8.1.1
Apple released an update for iTunes which brings it to 8.1.1. The update includes performance improvements, syncing with iPod Shuffle 3rd gen, HD movie rentals and a few other enhancements. You can get the update via software update on your Mac.

iTunes 8.1 is Now Available For Download
Apple has released an update to iTunes 8 which improves speed, stability and a handful of other things. See below for full details. Apple also released an update for Front Row which makes it compatible with iTunes 8.1.
Tunes 8.1 is now faster and more responsive. You will enjoy noticeable improvements when working with large libraries, browsing the iTunes Store, preparing to sync with iPod or iPhone, and optimizing photos for syncing.
