iPhoneDevTeam Releases Their iPod Touch 2G Jailbreak – redsn0w

Just a day after (depending where you live), NitroKey Slipstream was released for $15, the iPhone Dev Team has released their jailbreak for the iPod Touch 2G.  The Dev Team was trying to prolong their release in order to get the edge on a hole in the bootrom which allows them to continue to jailbreak any concurrent release with the same bootrom.  They had planned to release the Jailbreak once production of the 3rd generations had begun.  While this may or may not allow time for Apple to fix the issue permanantly, we can always count on the free solutions that the iPhone Dev Team will be providing for us who long for more out of our Apple devices.
