Navigon 8100T Gets Released With Nasa Topography

 

  Navigon has not been in the U.S. as long as others (overseas 18 years), but their newest GPS offering, the 8100T offers something unique and ups the ante on the competition.  Navigon has borrowed from NASA, their satellite topography for accuracy in navigation as well as elevations on the screen, giving a realistic 3D landscape view. The 8100T is the first of the Navigon line to incorporate this technology and offers a 4.8-inch screen which features a panorama view and a housing of brushed aluminum, offering a premium look and feel.  The input offers an iPhone-like touch screen and responds as quickly as you would expect.

Griffin Clarifi Adds Zoom to Your iPhone

 

  Griffin has made some interesting accessories for portable music players and now they have the New Griffin Clarifi for iPhone available for Pre-Order.  The new case not only protects the iPhone, but adds a much needed layer of sophistication to the camera of the iPhone.  Griffin has incorporated a lens into the protective backing of the iPhone case which allows better closeup shots.  "Without Clarifi, iPhone requires about 18 inches to focus properly. Slide Clarifi’s lens into place and you can move in to 4 inches for crisp detail and great pictures."

Xbox Lowering Price of the 360 in Japan

  Microsoft has had its ups and down with the Xbox in Japan.  For the first time the Xbox has been selling better than the PS3.  The trend started in August and Microsoft wants to keep the sales in Japan going strong.  Traditionally it has been very difficult for an American game console to take hold in Japan and the Xbox 360 has so far continues to prove this correct.
