Apple’s update to their suite of iLife applications is said to be in stores today. The major updates come to iPhone and iMovie. The upgrade will cost you $79 for one copy or $99 for the family pack. f you do a lot of work with iMovie, this is an upgrade worth having.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the company many of us aspire to be a part of or own. It has been an interesting 25 years if you go and review the history of the company. From the humble beginnings of the original Apple Computer to the inspiration that iMacs, MacBook’s and iPods are today, we wish Apple happy 25th and many more.

Unless you have been living in a cave like some terrorists we know of, you know that the Presidential inauguration was packed unlike they have seen in many years. Popular Science posted this picture from space of the inauguration which shows over 2 million people crowded into the mall. Gigapan has posted a picture of the inauguration which is 59,783 X 24,658 pixels or 1,474 megapixels in size. This is composed of 220 pictures taken to form this amazing panorama. When you see the picture you think, big deal, but when you realize you can zoom all the way to the sniper team on the far off building and see them fairly clearly, you quickly change your mind. This is not the first picture of its kind, but it is a great picture and worth taking a look.
This picture has been up for a day or two and if you have not already taken a look at it, I highly urge you to do so.
