Apple Has Done Cut and Paste Before, iPhone Should be Easy

  

  What is the most asked for feature on the iPhone?  You can bet that it is the simple ability to cut and paste from one document, browser, etc. to another.  No one is quite sure why Apple has not implemented the feature themselves before, but we do know they have said it is not a priority to them.  So today we have courtesy of boingboing a video of the Apple Newton using cut and paste.  The cut and past of the Newton is somewhat primitive, but it does the job.  Lets hope that Apple has this in store for the 2.1 firmware upgrade.

Google Turns 10 Today, Happy Birthday Google!

 

  If you hadn’t heard in the past couple of days, Google is turning 10 today, on September 7th, 2008.  The mammoth company that brings us the majority of our searches was born when Larry Page and Sergey Brin crossed paths at Stanford University in 1995.  As students they both founded the company, naming it after a 1 followed by 100 zeros.  They incorporated on September 7th, 1998 from a garage and the rest is history.

Video of 2 New Nokia Phones N79 and N85 Released

 

  There have been 2 videos posted of phones just released by Nokia, the N79 and N85.  "The N85 is a slider handset more like the N96 with a 2.6 inch OLED screen. The N85 comes with the N Gage platform and Nokia has pre-installed 10 games based on this platform. The phone has Wi-FiGPS, 5 mega pixel snapper with Carl Zeiss lens and the phone is beefed up with 8 GB of memory. "
