Griffin Clarifi Adds Zoom to Your iPhone

 

  Griffin has made some interesting accessories for portable music players and now they have the New Griffin Clarifi for iPhone available for Pre-Order.  The new case not only protects the iPhone, but adds a much needed layer of sophistication to the camera of the iPhone.  Griffin has incorporated a lens into the protective backing of the iPhone case which allows better closeup shots.  "Without Clarifi, iPhone requires about 18 inches to focus properly. Slide Clarifi’s lens into place and you can move in to 4 inches for crisp detail and great pictures."

SpaceX’s Falcon 1 History Making Video

 

  SpaceX’s Falcon 1 launched this past night and made history on the companies 4th attempt.  The rocket launched without a hitch and "About nine and a half minutes after launch, the second stage engine shuts down, and the Falcon 1 becomes the first privately developed liquid fuel rocket to orbit the Earth,” the company said.

Nero and Tivo Bring Home Theater to Your PC

 

  A partnership between Nero and Tivo have brought us a new package deal of services called Liquid TV.  The offer is for $199 and you get a Hauppage ATSC USB tuner, a Tivo remote, branded with Nero along with the necessary IR receiver.  The package also includes 1 year of Tivo service and brings TV to your PC.  Along with using the remote you can also use your keyboard and mouse should you so choose.  You can also export recorded video to your PSP or iPod right from the interface.  There is no promise of cable card compatibility, but the whole package is not a bad deal if you don’t already have cable or satellite or just want to avoid monthly fees.

Apple Changes its Review Policy to Make Reviews Matter

 

  One of the biggest complaints from users of the App Store is that people can review applications they don’t own.  This is a problem if you have never used the app you review and then decide to just spam the reviews with your opinion without even using the application.  Instead of reading opinionated reviews, we can now read objective review, or at least that is the hope.
